Joe Hamill: Grow up. Grow up! Stop living in the past and get your head into the future!
Maggie: [to Joe, her father] My marriage was over before Liam was even born... I'm the prisoner here. You and your politics have made sure of that!
Danny: I'm not a killer, Maggie, but this place makes me want to kill.
Harry: [Seeing Danny for the first time in fourteen years] You're out! Danny: [after a pause] Good behavior. Harry: [Sarcastically] You were never accused of that before.
Maggie: [Liam burned down Danny's gym] What the hell did you think you were doing? Liam: I saw you. I saw you with him. [Glares at his mother] Liam: You're going to run away with him, aren't you? Maggie: [Sits down next to him] No. I'm gonna stay right here with you. Liam: I don't want to see him ever again. [Gets up and leaves]
[last lines] Policeman at Checkpoint: Where are you going? Maggie: We're going home.
Maggie: I do have a mind of my own, Danny. I know very well I might be losing it, but I do have a mind of my own.
Danny: You still have it. Maggie: What? Danny: My soul, for what it's worth.
Danny: You're a dangerous fucking woman, Maggie.
Danny: I'm not a killer, Maggie. This place makes me want to kill.
Joe Hamill: It's as though the Brits want this ceasefire to fail.
Danny: We can't keep doing what we're doing, you know. Maggie: What are we doing?
prison officer: [to Danny as he is leaving] Fourteen years not long enough for yuh?
Danny: [to Maggie] I've lived with your face in silence for fourteen years. It's hard to talk to the real you.
Maggie: That was a warning shot they fired at you.
Joe Hamill: [about the shootings disturbing the peace] Last night didn't help. It didn't help.
Danny: [to Maggie] Give us a hug. You're a dangerous fuckin' woman!
Danny: I'll leave if you ask me to. Maggie: If *I* ask you?
Danny: For fourteen years I was locked up, my feelings were locked up inside me.
Ike Weir: [to Danny about Harry] You did him a favor, and he'll never forgive you for it.
