Jody Hill — American Director

Jody Hill is an American film director, producer and screenwriter. In 2006, he directed, co-wrote, co-produced and co-starred in his first film The Foot Fist Way, which he based on his experience as a Taekwondo black belt and instructor. His follow-up film, Observe and Report, stars Seth Rogen and was released on April 10, 2009. Hill is also co-creator, director and executive producer of the HBO series Eastbound & Down... I did little theater things growing up.
I don't see myself making comedies always.
I like writing my own stuff. If a book came along I would maybe do that.
I really like Larry Clark's films, as weird as that is. I like Richard Kern films.
I grew up doing martial arts, and it's one of these things where I always kind of liked acting, but I was never real serious about it.
